I was so happy to be at the beach this last Sunday...Ty and Jose and I went and picked up our friend Thomas and we all went to the beach. It wasn't too overly crowded, the weather was great, the water was cold, but tolerable. Ty and I have that European pasty white skin...consequently, the SPF30 BullFrog that we had didn't cover enough and unknowingly to us, we sat and fried crisp in the sun all afternoon. Believe me, I knew of my error about 9PM Sunday night. You can't tell in the pictures, but Ty and I were definitely the making of Larry the Lobster.

My iPhone died last night. That is going to make today horribly inconvenient. That is all.

Every year we attend the UCLA Festival of Books. My partner Ty, is an avid reader. There are all kinds of authors and lectures and books from many, many different kinds of sellers. It seems every year I take pictures and post them of people, but this year I decided to concentrate more on the architecture at UCLA with a few celebrities mixed in...
